Project Name: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Kangkanthi Building)
Description: We were the precast supplier for Stage 2 of the major redevelopment of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH).
The project required specialised structural and architectural precast concrete solutions. The panels were critical for managing tight installation sequences and achieving the modern, highly adaptable exterior design of the complex multi-story facility
This included 52 x 3D curved panels of 4m x 4m x 4m in size – and requiring significant attention to detail in the design and engineering, to execute such a complex manufacture and install.
RAMCO Precast was also recognised and won the award for Structure / Envelope – Commercial, at the Master Builders SA Building Excellence Awards – for our high level of excellence and execution of this project.
